if approval is obtained from the District Manager.

These areas contain windthrown timber that needs
to be salvaged as soon as possible in order to pre-
vent losses due to the possibility of insect attack and
accessibility, and harvesting is expected to com-
mence as early as April 27, 1992. The normal 6 week
period far response remains in effect. The proposed
prescription will be available for viewing untii June 3,
1992 during regular working hours at the office of
