guy.” Manyo staff informed me

bus tour of restaurants owned by
the astute gourmandisian Bud ~
Kanke, The department's staff tock
days to recover, but the show, as
they say, must go on. We tune in
during another self-indulgent
weekend of flambes, rich sauces
and soifed napkins:

ed to be a Celebrity Host at the
Salmon House. But its celebrity
has obviously not spread to the
furthest reaches of the Great
Lower Mainland metropolis. i am
not mobbed for autographs; 1 am
asked to please not clog up the
queue.

Later in the evaning a fundrais-
ing auction is called by Brad Scott
of Maynard’s Auctioneers. Table
Hopping misses out on a
Weekend for Two on Hotel Van-
couver's Business Class Floor.
Hey, we would have taken the
lobby floor, but our $50, bid did
not go over well,

Danced the night away to Long
john Baldry. Rolled home in a
Sunshine Cab with Bread Garden
Spacebars on our breath...
