The party, which was attended by more than 90 guests, all of whom were wearing an interesting assortment of hats, took place at the Hollyburn Country Club. The hats represented the many organizations that Margaret has been involved with during her 30-year career on the North Shore. They ranged from the YWCA to the Girl Guide movement, toa pre-school to the University Women’s Club, as well as exten- sive involvement with St. Christopher's Church and the West Van Ecumenical Outreach Program. May Brown, longtime Liberal supporter, former Vancouver Alderman and a former YWCA Camp Committee member, paid tribute to this very special woman.
