; The 1988 running of the Eleventh Annual North Shore News Sail-

‘ing Race, co-sponsored by CHQM, is set for Sunday June 49th.

: Racers frorn previous years will be familiar with the course from
the start at Dundarave Pier, to a marker at Point Atkinson, to the Point
Grey Bell Buoy, to a marker set 0.7 miles south of the center channel

_ marker, to the finish line off Kitsilano Yacht Club, a distance of approx:
imately 72 miles.

; The start will be conducted at 10.00 am: “and the. official finish
time is 3.00 pm. Ceremonies and awards presentations will begin as
soon as possible after 3:00 pm. at the Pelican Bay Dining Room located
in the Granville Island Hotel. - |

The eleventh annual family sailing event is open to all cruising
sailboats regardless of-club membership or: affillation.
