before discarding, by checking the Cambium layer low on the canes. If there is no
green showing — better luck nex? time! But many roses are only damaged, and
may require more severe pruning than normal. On grafted hybrids make suze you
are not simply getting understock growth below the graft. Consult your garden
center if in doubt.
