A 23-YEAR-OLD West Vancouver man has been
charged with aggravated assault and assault caus-
ing bodily harm after a dog attacked one of two
men involved in an altercation Monday.

The attack occurred just
after 3:30 p.m. Monday as
the result of a traffic acci-
dent at 23rd Street _ and

Dean Larson will appear
in court on January 30 to
face charges arising from the
incident.

Lonsdale home chased away
two would-be burglars when
he returned home and sur-
prised them inside his house
Tuesday morning.

The two men were in the

process of examining the
contents of the home when
the owner returned, sending
them fleeing into the streets
empty-handed.
’ Police, aided by tracking
dog Dain, appretiended one
suspect several blocks away
from the home and charges
against that man are pen-
ding.
