gram of plays beginning with
their first major production
of Peter Ustinov's “The
Unknown Soldier and His
Wife". Although the play
was written in the 60's, its
anti-war theme is particular-
ly relevant today with the
current interests in nuclear
disarmament. It will be
directed by Mary Louise Mc-
Causland whose last play,
Conduct Unbecoming, won
First Place at the 1982 B.C.
Theatre Festival.
Auditions for The
Unknown Soldier and His
Wife will be held on Sunday
August 7 and Sunday August
14 at 1:00 at Klee Wyck, 200
Keith Road, West Van-
couver. The play requires 15
men and two women so men
especially are encouraged to
come in and try their luck.
Mary Louise would like you
to have a prepared speech
ready for her, no more than
five minutes long.

“The Unknown Soldier
and His Wife” will be per-
formed at Presentation
House, . 333 Chesterfield

North Vancouver from Oc-
tober 15 to October 22.
