Industrial areas such as Cap

Park. Specifically, more c

oriented office uses are permitted, as well
as engineering and computer software
development uses, data processing and
studio uses for film, television and tausic.
The uses prescribed in Bylaw 7222 are
consistent with the Official Community
Plan's land use designation “Industrial”.

The City of North Vancouver is seeking

volunteers who are City residents to sit on

the Board of Variance or the North Shore
ily Court & Youth Justice Committee.

The Board adjudicates appeals to vary the
zoning bylaw of the municipality to permit
variances to such items as setbacks, heights

sand fencing - to name a few.

Term of Office: 2-3 year terms. Meets first
Wednesday of every month from 10:00 a.m.
to 12:00 noon at City Hall.

NORTH SHORE FAMILY COURT
8 YOUTH JUSTICE COMMITTEE

Acts as a link between the community and
the justice system as found in Family Court,
Youth Court, and Criminal Court as it pertains
to spousal assault aspects of family violence,
by awareness of community needs and
resources, assisting in developing services,
programs and resources, understanding and
monitoring legislation and administration
practices related to the justice system, and
by providing recommendations to Council,
Attorney General and others as considered
advisable. ‘

Term of Office: 1 year, maximum 8 years.
Meet third Thursday of every month from
6:00 p.m, to 8:30 p.m. at City Hall.
