WEST Vancouver
industrial designer
Bruce Hewson is set to
illuminate the tenth
annual Harmony Arts
Festival next week.

Hewson will join forces
with Vancouver’s Urban Tap
Squad in a dazzling visual
arts-cunt-dance display in the
fountain at the Ferry
Building at 1-414 Argyle
Avenue Wednesday night at
9:30 p.m.

Hewson will use the event
as an opportunity to show-
case one of his latest brain-
children — free-floating, bat-
tery-powered lights.

The nusicat light exhibi-
tion — aptly named “a little
light music” by Hewsun’s
wife, Leslie Alexander — will
feature a pair of dancers from
the troupe kicking up their
heels in the fountain in a
tap/contemporary display as
a handful of Hewson’s lights
accompany their footwork.
