Asa dutiful wife and for-
ward-thinking woman, I have
read some of this material in
the magazines | quickly flip
through while waiting ‘for my
groceries to be rung through
at the supermarket. And I
have even tried to put to work
a few of the recommendations
trom the so-called “love
__ experts.”

on dealers. To decriminalize pot would only
enhance our appearance to them and as word
spreads, we would see an increase in drug deal-
ers as they seek out a safer place to ply their

A person under the influence of marijuana
can expect his or her reaction time to be
slowed significantly and as they go behind the
steering wheel more accidents will occur on
our streets causing even more pain and suffer-

tion that brought in the Controlled Drugs
Substance Act. The manner in which posses-
sion of small amounts of marijuana is dealt with
by the police and the courts has changed and
policies exist to limit the costs associated with
someone charged with possession.

Finally, a call for responsible leadership is in

order because before your children are 15 they

will be exposed to alcohol and or marijuana.
How do you want them to deal with it? The:
desensitization of our attitudes towards violent
crime and drugs must stop!
