West Vancouverites Jack Munro, Sergio Cocchia and Frank Giglioni, as well as North Van media personality Kevin Evans, donated celebrity auc- tion items. Close to 700 people attended the second annual event, making it one of the largest gatherings of the sea- son, said executive producer and awards founder Andy Danyliu, also of West Vancouver. The awards are presented by the Kinsmen Rehabilitation Foundation to honor B.C. youth aged 13 to 18 who have overcome adver- sity to achieve excellence in their community. Awards were presented in six categories: community ser- vice, creative arts, sportsman- ship, entrepreneurship, envi- ronment and courage.
