‘Purse Arts Centre recently. Ogawa is In Vancouver to study with
Lee Kum Sing. The graduate of the Academy of Music in Tokyo
has also studied at the London Acacamy of Music in England.
Ogawa will begin her performance career in Japan next year.

EMI's game plan for the eventual
release of three double CDs of previ-
ously unreleased recordings span-
ning The Beatles career is inapres-
sive.

The first double disc set hits the
street Nov, 21.

EM is trumpeting the project as
“the most important event in modern
musical history."

EMI plans to toss trucks full of
money at TY, radio and print adver-
tising and merchandising.

For the first time in 25 years EMI
will release a Beatle video clip for a
new Beatles song, Free As A Bird.

According to EMI more than
20% of people who own four or
more Beatles discs have access to

_ on-line Internet service, Capitol is

developing a Beatles web site. The
label says it had good results with a
web page to promote the release of

' The Beatles Live At The BBC.

Last year that dise sold an
astounding 500,000 copies between
its release date of Dec. 6 and the end
of 1994.

EM! and Apple Records’ The
Beatles Anthology / contains 60
tracks. The material is culled from

The television wing of the
