All kinds and al! varieties will be sold from six-inch pizzas to 12-inch ones with everything on them. The emcee for the evening was West Van’s Rob Whittle, Palmer Jarvis’ office manager, along with his boss and ai.other West Van- ner, Frank Palmer. Others that ! spotted in the crowd were The Province’s Marlaina Gayle, PR man Jim Peacock, NW’s Rick Honey, BCTV’s Ron Bremn2r, U-TV’s Jack Tomik and Jim Hart, CFOX’s Willy Percy and Stevie Ray Dunbar of North Van, Science World’s PR director Ray Lord and Science World’s execu- tive director Sid Katz. Sid tells me that Science World has organized a first-ever retreat for science teachers this summer at the research centre, Loon Lake, at UBC. They want to enhance the teaching of science in the schools. The pizza party also marked the very first appearance by the B.C. Lions’ new cheerleaders. You could say that they added a lot of “pizza-azz”’ to the packed party. Murray Pezim’s Prime Sports boss, Frank Gigliotti of West Van, certainly appreciated them...
