One of them handed me a single red rose. It was from Kevin. Then they started to sing! They sang some wonderful love songs with beautiful voices. I just started shaking and crying. Everyone had gathered around my desk to listen, and even our recep- tionist started to cry. I was so moved! By the time they finished singing, even The Sweet Adelines had tears in their eyes. When they left, I was just start- ing to come down from the clouds when Kevin came around the cor- ner. He whisked me away for a romantic lunch in Horseshoe Bay.
