HOME & GARDEN B.C. Home and Garden Show now says it all! EVERYONE KNOWS that the outside of a heme deserves as much attention as the inside and so, at the 1992 B.C. Spring Home and Garden Show, gardening will finally receive its due. Gardening has always played an important role in the Spring Home Show. However, this year’s show takes it one step further. With the addition of “garden”’ to the name, the 1992 B.C. Home and Garden Show now says it all! B.C. Place Stadium will definitely be the place to be from Feb. 14 through 23, to get ideas and learn techniques for making yours the best lawn and garden on the block. The extensive involvement of the B.C. Nursery Trades Associa- tion (BCNTA) in the 1992 show promises to be both inspiring and informative. The BCNTA is currently finaliz- ing plans for a stroll garden that will occupy approximately 1,800 square feet of feature area at B.C. Place Stadium. The garden will be designed to provide mini-views of some of the latest, ‘‘hot'’? new trends in gardening, such as water gardening, container gardening and Japanese gardening. Visitors will be able to obtain helpful ideas for their own green space and benefit from the presence cf association members who will be demonstrating a variety of gardening techniques. Experts will also be available to visitors to answer any questions about the display or about their own gardens at home. The BCNTA is also providing the landscaping surrounding the 1992 Dream Home. Complemen- ling the contemporary, airy design of the home, the landscaping will feature low-maintenance shrubs and flowers that will provide a variety of textures and cofors throughout the year.
