WV youth charged after pursuit

AN 18-year-old West Vancouver
youth has been charged with driv-
ing without reasonable considera-
tion for others and causing police
to enter into pursuit.

The charges stem from an April
13 incident. At about 1:20 a.m.
police pursued a vehicle after
observing allegedly ‘‘erratic driv-
ing.""

Police followed the vehicle from
the Upper Levels Highway at
Caulfeild to Monte Bre Crescent,
where the driver bailed out of his
car,

Police dog Wotan and _ his
handler Const. Ian Craib were
called in to track the suspect.

Charged is Dwayne Edward
Sharbina.
