Casey Grant, Greyhound Pro- duction manager, told council that while the management of Park Royal did not object to the use of a helicopter during the original filming dates of April 2 and 3, she said it was her understanding that the shopping centre does not ob- ject to the new shooting dates of April 4 and 5 either. Park Royal marketing manager Per Danielsen said that the shopp- ing centre has given its approval to Greyhound to film on the new dates. While the helicopter will still be used, Danielsen said the original scene involving the aircraft has been changed. “The scene only calls for the helicopter to leave the landing pad (a gravel section near the Kapilano 100 building) and rise up above the parking lot and then land again,” said Danielsen. ‘‘The original scene called for them to leave the pad, fly over to Taylor Way (to the intersection of Taylor Way and Marine Drive) and then come back again.” He added that in addition to the April 4 and 5 dates, Greyhound will also be filming in and around Park Roya! on April 6 and 30 and one day in May.
