man pleaded guilty to assaulting a
female in connection with an Oct.
12, 1989 incident.

Before Judge R.D. Grandison in
North Vancouver provincial court
on Jan. 15:

Peter John Chambers received a
suspended sentence and was placed
on probation for six months after
the 46-year-old North Vancouver
man was found guilty of assaulting
another male in connection with a
June 17, 1989 incident.

Before Judge J.L. McCarthy in
North Vanceuver provincial court
on Jan. 12;

Paul John Damer was fined
$500 and had his driver’s licence
suspended for three months after
the 28-year-old North Vancouver
man pleaded guilty to failing to
stop when signalled to do so by a
police officer in connection with a
Sept. 9, 1989 incident.
