A kitchen in a North
Vancouver apartment was
damaged Sunday by a fire
which started from a pot on
the stove.

Cooking oil caught light at
105-138 West 18th. Street, a
strata tide suite owned by F.
Karmali, causing damage to
the cupboards and fan
system.

The fire was put out by
another resident of the
building, who used a dry
chemical extinguisher.
