new era in fitness

WELCOME TO the eza of new pre-
cision and enjoyable workouts; cach
individual -has individual goals and
physical abilities and must knew how

The key word here is individual:
heart rate monitoring allows us to gel
the, most benefit from our precision
running or walking programs.

Tiree individuals have accepted
our challenge towards the completion
of the 9-1-1 relay. Measuring their
efforts is critical to their success. The
following target heart rates zones will
be used:

* 60-70% of (MHR)*: weight man-.

agement zone for a fit appearance.

* 70-80% of (MHR): aerobic training

zone for a healthy heart.

* 80-100% of (MHR): competitive.

; training zone for peak performance.

first-time appearance by the Chilean Hal-
