Burglary charges

A 21-YEAR-OLD man faces three charges of break ond
enter and one charge of theft over $1,000 following a
high-speed chase in Vancouver.

A West Vancouver Police spokesman said the suspect
was arrested driving a Nissan Pathfinder stoten trom a
home located in the 800-block of 8th Street in West
Yancouver on Nov. 19,

The local charges stem from break-ins to two homes in
the 800-block of 8th Street and one located in the 900-
block of Keith Road.

Andrew David Shizgal, of no fixed ddress, is sched-
uled tu appear in West Vancouver Provincial Court on
Dec. 7 to face the charges.

FIRE DAMAGED aa single-storey wood frame house in.
North Vancouver City on Nov. 23.

North Vancouver City Fire Department firefighters
were called to 209 East 18th St. at approximately 11:30
a.m, .

According to a fire department spokesman, the fire
started in a Sedroom and spread down a hall before it
was extinguished.

An occupant of the home was working in a garage
when he noticed the lights went out.

He investigated and saw flames coming from the
bedroom window. He then called the fire department
from a neighhor’s house.

The ccuse of the fire is under investigation.

NORTH VANCOUVER: Victor Joseph Elless, 34, 105-
136 East 18th St., North Vancouver (over .08, $600
fine); James Phillip Natrall Junior, 43, 115 Tayaka
Place, North Vancouver (over .08, $300 fine).
