department prepare for the school’s 11th annual
Cabavet Night on Friday. Ali six of Argyle’s jazz
groups wiil be taking part in the event, wnich gets
under way at 7:30 p.m. Proceeds from the even-

Hospitality
industry
supports
children

THIS EASTER Sunday, over 100
hotels and restaurants in British
Columbia joined forces and raised
approximately $6,726 in support
of the B.C. Children’s Hospital.

This takes the B.C. hospitality
industry one step closer to its goal
of raising $120,000 for The
Children’s Miracle Network
Telethon on May 31.

Each participating sponsor
showed their support to the kids
by donating $1 from every brunch
or special menu item served on
Easter Sunday.

The campaign will resume on
Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 50,
when the hospitality industry
bands together again to raise even
more for the kids.

North Shore participants in-
clude Lonsdale Quay Hotel, Park
Royal Hotel, Foresters Country
Restaurant at Emerald Park,
Grouse Nest Restaurant, Salmon
House on the Hill, and the
Seymour Golf and Country Club.
