Grade 6 students at Sherwood Park Elementary last week
when he showed up unannounced during a presentation by
student Kylie Railton. Kylie was giving ter presentation on the
National Hockey League and her favorite team, the Canucks.

Stieda loses overall lead
in Canadian Tire race series

A CRASH carly in the third stage

of the Tour de White Rock on
Sunday caused Alex Stieda of
North Vancouver to lose his

overall lead in the Canadian Vire
Cup race series.

Stieda plummetied from first to
sixth place in the overall standings
after he came away pointless fram
last weekend because he could not
finish the {51-kilometre race.
Dave Spears of Sudbury. Ont.,
eventually won the third stave in
