noon rush hour backed up
traffic heading from North
i Van to the Second Narrows
8 Bridge. According to Port
Mann RCMP, a motorist get-
ting off the bridge on the
] Main Street off ramp,
changed his mind and cut
back on the highway. That
vehicle collided with af
loaded fiatdeck truck. The
vehicle then “mounted” the
thee-foot cement barrier and
“slid down” the barrier. The
4 vehicle fiattened the roof of
a car and also hit a Land
Rover as it travelied down
the barrier. Another car hit §:
the curb avoiding the vehi-
am cle on the barrier. Two peo-
m ple were taken to hospital.
