Happy 7Oth Anniversary
School sweethearts Ralph and Irene (neé
Dennison) McGregor were married Nov.
26, 1927 in Winnipeg. They moved to West
Van in 1929 where Ralph had a tanker truck
service until retiring in 1970. The couple
spend their winters in Mexico and California.

Viallace

Jack and Christina were married Nov. 29,
1947 in Toronto. They have a son, John, a
daughter, Suzanne, and one grandchild,
Daniel. The couple celebrated their golden
anniversary at the Beach House.

Srate & Elaine
Wbodhall

Ernie and Elaine were married Nov. 28,
1947. The North Shore couple raised
three children: Lynda, Raymond and
Gloria (deceased). They also have seven
grandchildren and two greatgrandchildren.

Ebner & Eleanor Long

Elmer and Eleanor were married Nov. 27,
1947 in Chatham, Ontario before moving
to the North Shore. The couple's seven
children sent them on an Alaskan cruise
as part of their 50th wedding anniversary
celebrations.

Windsor high school sweethearts Shawn and

Paula were married May 10 of this year at Deer

Lake's Hart House in Bumaby. The North Shore

newlyweds honeymooned south of the border in
lorida.

John and Gemma (neé Verseckas), a West
Van secondary school grad, were married last
July 19 at Holy Trinity Cathedral in New West.
The church's Sunday school students sang at
the service.

Heather Stepanich
Lawrence and Heather had a “Scottish flavor”
wedding last Aug. 9 in the North Van garden of
the bride's parents’ home. The fesitivities fea-
tured a piper, some Highland Fling dance and
“great tasting” haggis.
