ernment’s TRY program,

The TRY program — short for
The Responsibility is Yours — is a
part of the government’s approach
to substance abuse prevention,
treatment and research.

The locat funding announce-
ment was made jointly by Labor
and Consumer Services Minister
Norman Jacobsen, North Van-

Said Ree, ‘‘This is 2 pilot pro-
ject whose goal is to provide
substance abuse prevention and
early intervention services for
school staff, parents and students.

among some students and at-
tempts to address it in a practical
way.’”
