WEST VANCOUVER Fire
Department officials are
asking homeowners to be
careful when burning garden
rubbish following two minor
fires on the weekend,

Both fires occured when
sparks from burning rudbish
landed on roofs.

Firefighters responded
promptly to a call at 2:30
p.m. April 94 where a house
roof had cauzi:t fire. There
were no injuries and no
water damage to the house
at 3332 Mathers Ave. Fire

a garage roof, at 1640
