DNWATRH: 10 - Friday, April 26, 1985 - ia WEST VANCOUVER Fire Department officials are asking homeowners to be careful when burning garden rubbish following two minor fires on the weekend, Both fires occured when sparks from burning rudbish landed on roofs. Firefighters responded promptly to a call at 2:30 p.m. April 94 where a house roof had cauzi:t fire. There were no injuries and no water damage to the house at 3332 Mathers Ave. Fire cepartment officals are Outdoor burning ; leads to. North Shore News t awaiting the adjuster's report. Forty minutes later firefighters were called out ‘to. a similar fire, this time in a garage roof, at 1640 Haywood. There were no in- juries and the adjuster's report is pending.
