Or invited their views when several alternative methods were open to Council. Many, if not the majority ‘of taxpayers, are unaware ‘that each yeas-the provincial government requires mrunicipal councils to choose one of three options, described as -A, C or D. These options don’t decide the actual amount of taxes that will be paid, but they do specify the percentage of the assessed value of your ’ property that may be taxed. The decorating chairman Mrs. Trudy Purdy puts in many, many hours planning and organizing the decorating. A committee of volunteers then decorate and paint on an assigned day to help make the hospital more festive.
