NEWS staff receive top journalism award North Shore News editorial staff have this past week received awards both for written articles and photography, presented at the B.C. and Yukon And even as the News was going to press. this newspaper was to. be presented with further awards at the convention. For the second year running, news editor Chris Lloyd was placed in the MacMillan Bloedel Jour- nalism Awards, introduced at their presentation Thursday night as the most prestigious awards presented at the annual cénvention. His series of articles on the evacuation problems that would face the North Shore in the event of a chlorine spill on the size of that seen in Mississauga, arising from the manufacture of the chemical at North Van- Hooker Chemical plant, was placed third out of 75 entnes from 22 community papers.
