you'll try to cover ivo much
ground and come home ex-
hausted.

two people have lived
together, that kind of travel
can be a strain. For those
just starting out there are
more adjustments to be
made.

On my. one-and-only ex-
perience at honeymooning, |
found that after the first few
days | began’ getting anxious
to get home and start the
Suzy Homemaker routine.
After ali, putting together a

home was the object of it all.
You may find a month a lit-
de long.

But, perhaps that’s a 200d
reason for taking the trip
now. I don’t know how

many times, early in our’

marriage, that we put off
taking vacations because the
hot water tank broke or the
roof needed repairs.

Hawaii: The weather is
lovely no matter when you
go — but so is our weather
here in May.

By using your fiance's
condo you'll save a bundle
of cash. Food doesn’t count
because you've got to cat
regardless and in a condo
you can do a lot of your
own. Groceries are more ex-
pensive, though. And don’t
forget the beating you'll take
on American dollars.

For a number of reasons {
might consider another
alternative - call it Plan C.

What about taking a week
right after the ceremony and
trying a resort or whatever
fairly close to home? Save

your three weeks and try
Hawaii in November. Or
even use up a second week
when you get back from the
resort to get your house in

order before you go to work.

If you decide to go for
Europe have a good look at
your itinerary and don’t

spend too much time on the
move.

Anyway, best wishes with
whatever you decide. And,
about that house — maybe
you should put that on hold
for a few months or at least
until you find out which one
of you likes to garden!
