and retailer served the North
Vancouver tailor with legal

At about the same time,
Minichiello expanded Paul's

shop and dry cleaning busi-
ness at 127 West Esplanade to
open a menswear store,
Ermenegildo Zegna Fashions
Ltd.

The store sells suits tai-
lored from Zegna cloth,
along with men’s fashions and
accessories.

When contacted Oct. 30,
Vancouver Zegna store man-
ager Fiore Aliperti was not
aware oof =the = North
Vancouver store opening.

“He’s allowed to carry the
fabric — the Zegna fabric we
supply worldwide — but
‘fashions’ ... 1 don’t under-
stand what he’s getting at,”

said Aliperti.

An attempt by Zegna to
get the court to restrain
Minichicllo from operating
the store until the matter
comes to trial was dismissed
by the court Dec. 12. No trial

opening Visitors Interpretation programs within: Alice Lake,
Porteau Cove and Porpoise Bay Provincial Parks and
communities within the Gariba!di/Sunshine District.
