Par- ticipate in your community, be a volunteer! ANIMAL lovers. If you miss your pet and want to get great ex- ercise and fresh air, volunteer to walk dogs for the SPCA from noon to 3 p.m, any day. ART gallery requires a volun- teer to heip with publicity, fund- raising, office work and hanging exhibits. Volunteer shouid enjoy the arts and be English speaking. Hours are Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays noon to 4 p.m. PATIENT friendly people are needed to monitor an emergency telephone system and deal with concerns and complaints seniors may have with the system. Re- quired for two hours per week, Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. FRIENDLY outgoing person who enjoys seniors is needed to give one-to-one nutrition counsell- ing to participants in a Keep Well program. Monday 10:30 to 11:30 a.m, NIGHT at the movies. Person with good communication skills is needed to assist with a movie pro- gram for seniors. Help choose films and lead a discussion after- wards. Flexible hours, once per week, ENGLISH speaking person over 2) years old with no criminal re- cord is needed to provide emo- tional support to victims of crime. Some home security visits and court attendance with client are also required.
