Called And the Sea Will Tell it stars Richard Crenna, Rachel Ward, James Brolin and Hart Bochner. Green and Epstein are the two gentlemen who also produced por- tions of the very scary movie, [t, with Richard Thomas, Tim Currey and John Ritter in a house on Stevens Drive and Harry Hamblio’s troubled character in Deadly Intentions, Againin North Van. Monday night was the re-open- ing of the North Shore Keg. This was fuod man George Tidball's dream 20 years ago, as the very first operation in the successful Keg chain opened. It was a dark, woodsy, low-ceil- inged restauraiu, just across the street from the swishy new restau- rant on Esplanade. it was the innovation of the de- cade, a great place for fun dining, where the steaks went for $4.95, steak and lobster went for $5.95 and the keg-sized high balls were 67 cents! P.R. man Dunc Holmes and his Joyce were tucking into the tasty nachos and recalling that it was six years ago, as Dunc was mak- ing a cheque presentation on BCTV to John McKeachie ont ¢ Variety Club telethon, that his massive heart attack began. All he remembers was making sure that his client’s name was mentioned before he expired! Now there’s a promotions guy for you! He has recovered remarkably well and feels better than ever... Herb couldn't be there ’cause he was skiing with his Elfen in St. Moritz, buying up who-knows-what for the Proper- ties business tycoon, Harry Moll... The only person missing was the man who started it all. George Tidball was in Phoenix on business. He missed a really good party!
