want the anti-feminist group cut off from government
funding. Federal Status of Women Minister Mary Collins
is reviewing REAL Women, which has applied for more
than $100,000 in federal grants this year.

LGH seminar to discuss ostomy surgery

LIONS GATE Hospital will host
this Saturday an afternoon seminar
for people who have has? ostomy
surgery.

The seminar is scheduled to run
from 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., May
5 in the LGH auditorium.

Speakers scheduled to appear at

the event include local physicians
Dr. Norman Hamilton, a general
surgeon; urologist Dr. Ping Yue;
and a gastroenterologist.

Nutritionist Gerry Kilby and
LGH Rev. Al Pope, who will be
talking about body image, are also
confirmed as speakers.
