CRISIS line counsellor is need-
ed for listening, referring, and
problem solving or other skills
necessary to alleviate emotional
distress. Volunteer will) answer
distress line. Excellent interper-
sonal and crisis counselling skills
are required. Extensive training in
six workshops provided.

A MEAL time assistant is re-
quired to help with the Con-
gregate Meal. The assistant will
help with serving and preparing
for this very popular seniors meal.
This is a great opportunity to so-
cialize and have fun. The hours
are Tuesday and/or Thursday
from 4 to 6:30 p.m.

EMPATHETIC drivers with re-
liable cars are needed to transport
patients from their homes in
North Vancouver to the cancer
clinic on West 10th in Vancouver.
The hours are flexible and drivers
will be reimbursed for gas. .

VOLUNTEER tutors are need-
ed to work one-on-one with stu-
dents in elementary schools.
Tutors will assist students with
learning difficulties in the areas of
reading, writing, English, math,
social studies and science. Volun-
teer will be required to assist once
or twice a week during the school
day.

Education forum set

Year 2000 school changes to be discussed

the restructuring program will

major education issues.

of the prograin and will include
the recently implemented
changes at the primary level
