Mr. Hudson, who retired
after 30 years with Burrard
Y arrows, had been president
and chief executive officer
for 10 years prior to being
named board chairman on
July 1.

maximum legibility.

The big advantage of the
unit is that it can be either
fixed to an existing wall or
fence, or set into the ground
by itself in the required
position near the road.

According to Moore, his

brainchild (has been ap-—

chief and building inspector,
and endorsed by other
municipal officials.

The lack of visible street
number identification on
many West Van homes ‘has
long been a sore point with
Mayor Derrick Humphreys,
who has made regular ap-
peals in the past for clearly
visible numbering.

Moore is currently in the
process of marketing his kit,
which has a five-year all-
weather guarantee and a 10-
year life expectancy. The
projected price comes to less
than the cost of a dinner out
for two.
