Doug Marshall is the young and popular coach of Division Four Lynn Valley Falcons who are on their way to the B.C. cham- pionships followed by the western and Canadian finals later in the summer. Marshall has worked with the 13- and i4-year-olds for about three years and has proven his abilities to bring out the besi in the powerful team. Chris Bennett is a former player with the Vancouver Whitecaps, Seattle Sounders and the old Memphis Rogues and is a top qualified coach through the Canadian Soccer Association. He is also coaching the B.C. Under 21s and working with Bob McNabb, the former Whitecap coach and long time Arsenal fullback in running the B.C. Senior Selects. The three instructors are definite in their views that the instructors of all soccer schools must be more than babysitters. They feel that by limiting each session to 16 players, they will be able to establish a rapport with the youngsters. Classes for the North shore will take place at Blueridge, Lynn Valley, Norsemen and Eldon during July from 9 a.m. to noon ata cost of $40 for the five days. The classes are open to all, both boys and girls, between the ages of seven and 16 and all participants will receive a full soccer uniform.
