homes in the area of 13th
Street and Grand
Boulevard, North Van-
couver, Monday morning.
The chopper, rushed over
from the Canadian Forces
Base Comox was ferrying
two snowshoe hikers and a
search party after a night
rescue on Strachan
Mountain up behind
Cypress Bowl. North
and West Vancouver
Emergency Program
Rescue Team members
had already given the men
emergency treatment for
their condition while
awaiting the helicopter.
They had wrapped them in
Sarongs - jackets which
have warm water. cir-
culating throagh plastic
