August 15th to celebrate their
50th Wedding Anniversary. Their vows
wete exchanged August 14, 1943 in
Winnipeg, Manitoba where they were
born & lived until 1961. They moved to
West Vancouver in October of 1961
where they still reside. Jim & June have
been active members of Kiwanis and
Kiwassa, West Vancouver United Church
& the Vancouver & West Vancouver
Foundation. Jim is curently president of

SUELZER - Barbro, died peacefully on
August 12, 1993 after a courageous bat-
tle with cancer. Born in Norrkoping,
Sweden and late of West Vancouver,
B.C., Barbro touched everyone she met
around the world with her strength of
character, sense of humour and charity
towards others. She was well respected
in her thirty year career as a leading
Yashion importer (Barbro tmports). She
worked even harder in the fast four
years after retirement for her many char-
ities. She was predeceased by her
brother Christer Evinger, Barbro is sur-
vived by her loving husband Hardy; her
mother Mai Evinger of Norrkoping,
Sweden; her brother Lars, his wile Siv
and their children Peter (wife Kelly) and
Michael; sister-in-law Peggy and
children Jonas and Tina; and a world
{ull of special friends and relatives. A
time of viewing will be held on Friday,
August 20 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in Ocean
View Funeral Home, 4000 Imperial
Street, Burnaby, B.C. Funeral Service
will be Saturday, August 2) at 2:00 p.m.

VAN GELDEREN - Aron of North Van-
Couver passed away peacefully August
17, 1993 in Lions Gate Hospital after a
caurageous battle with cancer. He will
be sadly missed by his many friends and
especially by his loving wife Willie;
daughters Leah (Mills), husband Kelly,
Yvonne, husband Terry and grandehil
dren Kristian, Stefan and Rene. Now
may he rest. Special thanks to his
wonderful nurses on 7 West and many
friends who filled his final days; and
made such an effort to camiort him. A
celebration of Aron’s life will be held on
Friday, August 20th, 10:00 a.m. at
Mount Olivet Lutheran Church, 1305
East 18th Street, North Vancouver. tn
