Vancouver home invaded TWO armed. men trau- matized a woman and her 14-year-old daugh- ter on Sunday during a West Vancouver home invasion. Police say the robbers were armed with a knite and hand- gun, They stole cash and jewel- ry from the home in the 300- block of Keith Road. The robbers took off in the woman’s Jeep Grand Cherokee. The jeep was later found abandoned near the SPCA building in Ambleside Park, according to West Vancouver Police. The home invaders are described as being Caucasians, ages 17 to 20. One suspect had straight brown hair. He wore Adidas “tear away pants” and a dark dlue or black hooded sweater. The other suspect bad blond curly hair and was wearing a black ski mask. He carried a large duck sports bag. Anyone with information is asked to call West Vancouver Police at 925- 7300. Costly bicycle frame returns A Richmond resident was recently reunited with his $2,000 bike frame. North Vancouver RCMP Const. Tom Seaman Richmond man was watching a television cpisude of Ta Serve and Protect when he spotted the frame, stolen from him two years ago. North Jancouver Mounties were filmed in February responding to a complaint about two dranken men trying to enter a work- shop near the Lynnwood Hotel. The men hact been evicted from the workshop. As police officers were dealing with the pair, one officer was filmed looking at an expensive bike frame. Police say the Richmond man recognized che bike frame as the one stolen from his car in Burnaby two years betore. He called the police. Fortunately the officer who had examined the bike frame in the workshop recorded its serial number. Serial numbers — were matched with the Burnaby RCMP file about the bike thett.
