Remember one of the great
claims made when personal
computers first made themsetver
known to the group mindset?
Starry eyed prognosticators were
quick to trumpet the dawning of
the Paperless Office. Not another
rainforest tree would die a need-
less and despicable death. Paper
cuts? History. Us worker bees
would live much more efficiently
digitally. Yet a worid without
information exchange on paper
remains a distant reality thanks
in ‘arge part to the pervasive fax
and photccopying technology
that continues to dominate inside
the engine rooms of the busi-
ness world. That said, there is

put out countless how-to com-
