“lt was actually John who put
the group together,” says
Woodley of the songwriter’s
svengali-like status. “He had the
vision and knew what he was
aiming for.

“He thought it was mar-
ketable.”

He was right. With its debut,

yielded four singles (including
the Top-20 hit R U Sexin’ Me), a
pair of videos, soundtrack bites

“| know everybody says this,
but it really is an honor to be
nominated,” says Woodley.

“To know that you've been
chosen alongside s0 many great
artists,”

works and the three women are
working on collaborative writing
efforts.

“We're putting our heads
together,” says Woodley. “John is
very open with us and says he’s

willing to listen to anything we
come up with.”

As for Woodley’s personal
future, “I'd really like to go back
ta school,” she says, noting that
her forte is languages. (She
speaks French, Spanish and a bit
of German.)

“Whether or not { do this and
go to school, or one or the other,
I'd like to leave my options open.

“Basically, I'll keep doing this
as long as it’s still fun.”
