Dressing: « 4anchovie filets -, Leup olive off Ya cup oil 2 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons vinegar garlic powder (don't use garlic sa3t) Mix together soy sauce, oil, sugar and vinegar. Sprinkle with. garlic powder to taste — 1 use enough so that the whole top of the sauce is white. Whisk the sauce thoroughly. Marinate the chicken overnight or at least a couple of hours. Either bake the chicken in a single layer at 325°F for about 1% hours or grill, basting frequently. This sauce is excellent for steak or chops too. Our barbecue is one of the tradi- tional ones which | translates “messy’’. I’ve found that it’s much easier to clean the grill if 1 spray it with Pam (or equivalent) sptay before heating it up. As soon as we're finished cook- ing I lay the grill on a thick sheet of newspaper, lay another sheet on top.and wet the whole thing down. with the garden hose. By the time we're finished eating all the burned bits are soaked into the paper. This is my own recipe for Caesar Salad. I prepare the dressing early in the day, omitting. the egg, and let it sit at room temperature in my . blender. Just before serving I toss in the egg and give ita good whirl.’ Brian’s Favortiz .
