AN ONTARIO man
will spend a year in jail
after he was arrested
for holding a, loaded
gun to the head of a
taxi driver .in West
Vancouver! in late
December.

Michel Hector Tremblay,
27, of Caspe, Ontario,
pleaded guilty to weapons
offenses in provincial court
in December and received
the one year jail term.

Tremblay was arrested at-
gunpoint by members of the
West Vancouver Police at !
a.m. on December 20 as they
responded to reports of an
altercdtion at Royal and
Chatham in Horseshoe Bay.

Police investigation of the
incident revealed Tremblay
had held a loaded .22-calibre
semi-automatic pistol to the
taxi driver's head during the
incident, leading to the
charges. . 1 ”
