The victims, a father and son from Peru who had been holidaying in North Vancouver area at the time, had returned to Peru and Crown counsel had delayed the case twice previously while at- tempting to get them to return as witnesses. Charges against Glen Arthor Litke, 21, of Qualicum Beach, were abated when he died last October. Police reports of the at- tack which had been the subyect of the charges showed that last September 26 the father and son had been chased from Vancouver to Deep Cove by a group of four bikers.
