provincial court on Sept. 5
in connection with a fraud
charge.

Babak (Bob) Mirhadi, 33,
has been charged with
defrauding the Canadian
Imperial Bank of Commerce of
more than $5,000.

Babak Mirhadi is the broth-
er of Mohammad Mirhadi.

Mohammad Mirhadi, 21,
was shot in the head and body

during a gang-style killing in a
‘packed movie theatre in

February. No one has been
charged with Mohammad
Mirhadi’s death.

Babak Mirhadi was in court
last Friday for a preliminary
hearing related to the fraud
charge. He was ordered to
stand trial for the offence at the
end of court proceedings. (A
preliminary hearing is held to
determine if there is enough —
evidence for a trial.)
