THE NORTH Vancouver
Chamber of Commerce will host
its spring Business After Business
affair at the North Shore Winter
Club, 1325 East Keith Road,
North Vancouver, on April 25
from $ to 7:30 p.m.

The event wiil be sponsored by
Vancouver Wharves Ltd.

The semi-annual trade show
gives chamber members an oppor-
tunity to showcase their goods and
services to the public and. other
chamber members.

Approximately 40 exhibitors are
expected to attend.

Admission is $5 for members
and $7 for non members. For

WOMEN NOMINATED

SEVERAL NORTH Shore women
are among 52 others who have
been nominated for 1991 YWCA
Women of Distinction Awards.

This year’s nominations include
physicians, human rights ad-
vocates, small businesswomen,
writers, educators and a television
broadcaster.

A two-day seminar will alsa be
held, sponsored by the federal and
provincial governmenis and the
private sector. The seminar will
provide a forum for discussion of
key financial and development

issucs to be faced over the next
decade,

Prime Minister Brian Mulroney
will open the meeting on April 24
and three cabinet ministers, Ex-
ternal Affairs Minister Joc Clark,
Finance Minister Michael Witsoa
and External Relations and Inter-
national Development Minister
Monique Landry will be in Van-
couver at various times during the
coming week.

The annual general meeting and
business sessions will be held at
various times at the Hotel Van-
couver while the business devel-
opment seminar will be held April
22 and 23 at the Hyatt Repency
Hotel.
