THE MUSCULAR Dystrophy
Association of Canada, British
Columbia and Yukon Region, are
sponsoring their first annual San-
ta’s Celebrity Bowl. The event
takes place on Saturday, Dec. 8,
from 12 to 3:30 p.m. at
Brunswick Lions Gate Bowling
Lanes, 1080 Park Royal in West
Vancouver.

This fundraising event is
basically a Charity Bowl divided
into two portions.

The general public, including
the disabled community, will be
invited to participate in open
bowling from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at
$2 per game.

Later on people will be invited
to join Lions Gate bowlers for an
in-house Bowling Tournament.
This part of the program will take
place from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. at
$15 per person.

This family event will feature
Santa Claus, sports celebrities,
free candy canes, a barbecue and
lots more.

The funds raised from this

> event will be used for an array of §

much needed client services in-
cluding wheelchairs, leg braces,
and hospital beds.
