Writing Contest is fast ap-
proaching.

Students need to dig into
their writing folders to
choose the very best of what
they’ve written in the 1989-
90 school year.

Winners will share $1,000
in prize money and will have
their work published in the
Realty Worid-B.C. English
Teachers’ Association’s Stu-
dent Writing Journal.

The contest is open to
B.C. students in grades 8 to
12 and both poetry and pro-
se (maximum fo 1,500
words) may be submitted

(number of submissions is
limited).

Entries must be
postmarked by January 15,
1990.
