The coroner's inquest, being held in Victoria, is attempting to determine what caused the deaths of the two and the injuries of all but three others aboard the bus taking students home after a day of skiing at Mount Washington. The specialtly-selected six-member coroner's jury also heard that there were 64 passengers aboard the 4%- seat bus because one bus that had been chartered to carry the students to the ski hill could not make it up the steep hill. Photographs presented to the inquest also appeared to show that one tire on the ‘Will move books’ DESPITE THE presence of senior ciuuzens and students who are occupying the David Thomspon University Centre’s library, Education Minister Jack Heinrich said books and some portable umits attached to the hbrary will be moved from the site as soon as June & Heinrich made the com ment as the occupauion of the untversity. tibrary oan Nelson entered its fitth day The protestors have said thes will mot leave the building until they have oa written puarantee Chat books and equipment wall nat the taken away The protestors got a stow of support from other Nelson residents Notas whet oat estimated yOG people jyotuned: tans to form Ao burtea Prater trocarret ot tae burhkdge The residents: of Net seu have been fapebterp othe perce Vine bal powenrnmient spec ou AD EOUTIG COC HE un Pattiriaaes that the Cine als unis etsity os tomo expensive and that i wall be closcd Phrase cre ep tang thie trusldacp feel that if the equipment rs cere thorn the tibtary at will stprval ttre cnd of a possible co openiiiy of the quar eecrstey A percprsab ter use the VEEN CESILy aS & campus fora row ocneitere is unteen sity as alrcady drawing proposals favs i) VEATEN CESHEECS frovtn ac toss North Aametiea PARTICIPACTTION bus, chartered from Conmac student who was riding the bus and who went to the aid” an fr some of the injured Ltd. of Victoria, appeared to have no tread. did well, a 16-year-old | ee Sucawes you can’ afford minesthen students, first aid kit aboard the bus not contain equipment that was essential.
